All you need: Bread that needs using, a knife, food processor or grater. Frying pan. Air tight jar.
Process: Take the bread and grate/process or rip into crumbs. Pour/spoon garlic & herb butter or garlic chilli oil (or use fresh garlic and oil) into the frying pan, tumble in the crumbs and fry until crispy. Remove from the heat and add fresh / dry herbs. Use as a sprinkle for your dishes. Don’t throw away the ends of your bread, create deliciously crispy crumbs to sprinkle over a cooked breakfast, soup, salad, lunch, dinner or as added crunch in a sandwich.
